Great news for Futian based businesses on how the government can help you financially during the recent epidemic prevention measures. I will talk about different subsidies that you and your business might qualify for.1.  RENT REDUCTION For tenants who rent state owned properties, rent is free for March and 50% of rent for April. For tenants who rent private properties, The government will reimburse landlords, 30% of whatever they are willing to deduct from your rent. 2. SUBSIDIES FOR RESTAURANTS New restaurant that are to be opened in Futian before September 20 this year, can receive subsidies up to 200,000 yuan according to the size of the establishment.  Futian Food and Beverage stores located within the sealed and Controlled Zones, are eligible to receive a maximum subsidy of 20,000 yuan per store after resuming normal operations. The relatively large cross-border delivery companies using water, land and rail transportation, can receive a subsidy of 50% of the transportation cost, up to the amount of 1 million RMB. Movie theaters, hotels, and travel agencies in the Futian District, will be subsidized after resumption of operations up to 2 million.

3. LOAN DISCOUNT

 For loans from March to August 31, the maximum subsidy is half of the total interest for 6 months. 

4 SUBSIDIES FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES Insurance companies will be given up to 3 million in subsidies to epidemic prevention personnel based on case of claims.

5. SOCIAL SECURITY SUBSIDY For enterprises in the Futian District that did not terminate employees, a subsidy of 500 yuan per employee will be given to the enterprise according to the number of social insurance employees. 

6. POST STABILIZATION SUBSIDIES For enterprises with a social insurance purchase rate of more than 95% from April to June, the subsidy will be calculated based on the number of people that receive social insurance, with a maximum subsidy of 100,000 in total. 

7. SUBSIDIES FOR ENTERPRISES FOR PURCHASING COVID PREVENTION EQUIPMENT Enterprises that purchase masks, disinfectants, thermometer guns and other anti-epidemic supplies, will receive a maximum subsidy of 50,000 yuan, which is calculated based on the number of people who paid social insurance in March. 

8. SUBSIDIES FOR EPIDEMIC PREVENTION EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES Enterprises located in sealed and Controlled Zones, shall be reimbursed 50% of the total cost of purchase of epidemic prevention equipment and services. 

9. SUBSIDIES FOR REAL ESTATEAND CONSTRUCTION For construction sites that have resumed work, a subsidy of 1,000 yuan per person will be given according to the actual number of employees on the job site, with a maximum of 2 million yuan. 

10. SUPPORT SERVICES While the policy will be published as of March 21st, the government is still working out specific operational guidelines.
